WhatsApp Apps for Wix Compared: Free Plans, Prices and Order Features

The best WhatsApp app for a Wix store depends on what you want WhatsApp to do: start a chat, take an order, or tell customers about their order. Most apps do one of those. This comparison lists seven, with the free plan, the paid prices and the order features as each app’s Wix App Market page showed them on 7 October 2026. One of them, the WhatsApp Order & Chat Button by LeadTrapper, is ours, and we say so wherever it appears.

Three Kinds of WhatsApp App

A chat button puts a WhatsApp icon on your pages so visitors can message you. An order button sits on a product page and sends that product’s details when tapped, so the conversation starts with the order rather than with questions. An order notification app sends messages to customers after they buy: confirmation, payment, shipping, and sometimes a cash-on-delivery check.

A clothing shop in Mexico City taking questions about sizes needs the first. A furniture shop in Jeddah that sells through WhatsApp needs the second. A busy cash-on-delivery store in Karachi losing money on refused parcels needs the third.

Chat Button Apps

Chaty by Poptin

Chaty is the most reviewed app in this list by a wide margin. It puts one widget on your site that can open WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, SMS, a contact form and more, with targeting rules for when it appears. The free plan covers 500 visitors a month; paid plans run from €11 to €58 a month by visitor numbers. It does not add an order button or send order messages.

WhatsApp by Tornado

A simpler WhatsApp-only button, free for one active chat with no traffic limit, and €4.72 a month for several agents and scheduling. It is a good fit for a site that only wants “chat with us”.

Order Button Apps

Order on WhatsApp by PluginSpark

This app goes furthest on ordering: according to its listing, it creates the Wix Stores order before WhatsApp opens, so the order number, products, quantities and customer details travel in the message, and it supports cash on delivery and bank transfer as payment methods. It can sit before or after Add to Cart, or replace checkout. It costs €6.08 a month after a one-day trial and had two reviews when we checked.

Order Notification Apps

WhatsApp Marketing by iN2

The most reviewed notification app here, with 712 reviews. It sends order and delivery updates and abandoned-cart reminders, and its listing says the official WhatsApp API is included with no extra per-message fee. The free plan has 30 messages a month; paid plans run €6.79 for 500, €13.67 for 3,000 and €27.43 for unlimited.

WhatsApp Notifications by MarketPushApps

Sends WhatsApp alerts for store orders, bookings, restaurant orders, event tickets and forms, with pre-built templates. Plans are counted in messages: €6.00 a month for 30 up to €95.38 for 1,100, with a 10% discount showing when we checked.

Santhe WhatsApp

Order and shipping updates and abandoned-cart reminders, with a limited free Basic plan and paid plans from €11.89 a month. Its listing does not say whether it uses the official API.

WhatsApp Order & Chat Button by LeadTrapper

Our app combines the three kinds. On the store, it adds an Order via WhatsApp button to product pages, with the product name, price and link in the message, and a floating button that opens a chat, calls, or offers both. In the dashboard, it lists orders and counts every button click. The WhatsApp order button for Wix guide shows each part with screenshots.

For order messages, it works differently from the notification apps above. Instead of the Business API and message allowances, it connects to LeadTrapper, a free app for Windows that sends from your own WhatsApp number: order confirmation, payment, shipping with tracking, and cash-on-delivery confirmation where the customer replies 1 or 2 and the answer shows next to the order. That makes it free with no message cap in the app, but it needs a Windows computer that is on, and your own number carries the sending, with default limits per number. It also sends WhatsApp abandoned cart reminders for free: when a shopper leaves checkout after typing a phone number, LeadTrapper sends one WhatsApp message with the link back to their cart, and cancels it if the order is completed. Several of the paid apps above charge a monthly fee for that. What it does not have yet is many reviews, because it was published on the Wix App Market in October 2026.

Which One Fits Your Store

If you only want visitors to reach you on several channels and you have steady traffic, Chaty is the proven choice.
