LinkedIn Scraper for Prospect Lists
Type a role and a city and get a list of the people who hold it. LeadTrapper finds LinkedIn profile links through Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo, then reads each profile's name, headline and location, so the basic search never needs your LinkedIn account. $50 a year after a 14-day free trial.

What the LinkedIn scraper does
- Searches by role, industry and place. Type a keyword, a location and, if it must match exactly, a job title.
- Finds profiles through search engines. It reads Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo for LinkedIn profile links, so the search itself doesn’t use your LinkedIn account.
- Reads each profile. Name, headline and location from the profile page, marked Verified profile or Partial when LinkedIn hides the page.
- Scores the matches. Profiles whose headline contains your keyword and whose location matches yours score higher, so the best matches sort to the top.
- Reads lists you already have. Paste profile links into Profile Scraper and it reads each one.
- Exports to CSV. Up to 1,000 profiles per run.
How it works
- Search. Open LinkedIn Studio, type a keyword such as “property manager”, a city such as London, and an optional job title, and press Run.
- Review. Sort by score, open the profiles that matter, and export the CSV.
- Reach out. Find each person’s company website and use the website contact details extractor to read the contacts the business publishes, then check numbers with the WhatsApp Number Filter.
Why LinkedIn leads
LinkedIn tells you who holds a role: the Head of Procurement in Riyadh, the property managers in Toronto, the clinic owners in Singapore. That makes it the best place to map decision makers, even though it isn’t a place to collect phone numbers. For local businesses with a published number, the Google Maps scraper is faster, and the TikTok and Instagram scrapers read the contacts creators publish.
Know the limits
LinkedIn’s User Agreement bans scraping and bots, and LinkedIn enforces it in court and by restricting accounts, so the risk is yours. Without your account, results are limited to what the search engines show. Connecting your LinkedIn session finds more people and puts that account at risk; if LinkedIn shows a security check, the browser-based search pauses for 24 hours. The tool collects no emails or phone numbers.
Who uses a LinkedIn scraper
- B2B sales teams mapping the decision makers by role in one city before they call or email.
- Recruiters building candidate lists by job title and location.
- Agencies finding who runs marketing or operations at companies in their area.
- Founders who need an occasional prospect list and don’t want to pay for Sales Navigator.

Tips for a better list
- Use the title field for exact roles. “Head of Leasing” in the title field keeps only profiles that say exactly that.
- Use the words people write in headlines. “Procurement” and “purchasing” can return different people, so run both.
- Try the region name too. “London” and “Greater London” can return different profiles.
- Sort by score. Profiles whose headline and location match yours rise to the top.
- Get emails from the company website. Take the company from the headline and run its website through the Email Finder.
Common problems
- Fewer profiles than expected. Without your LinkedIn account, results are limited to what Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo show. Try a broader keyword, or leave the title field empty.
- Rows marked Partial. LinkedIn hid the profile page, so only part of the details could be read.
- The search paused for 24 hours. LinkedIn showed a security check, and the browser-based search pauses to protect the account you connected.
- No emails or phone numbers. By design: the LinkedIn scraper collects none. Use the Email Finder on the company’s website.

Questions
What does the LinkedIn scraper collect?
Each profile’s link, name, headline and location, with a status that shows whether the profile page loaded and a score for how well it matches your search. It doesn’t collect emails, phone numbers, followers, connections, job posts or company pages.
Do I need to connect my LinkedIn account?
No. Profile Search finds profile links through Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo and works without your account. Connecting your LinkedIn session is optional: it adds LinkedIn’s own people search and more results, and it puts that account at risk.
Does it find emails and phone numbers?
No. LinkedIn profile pages don’t publish them. To reach the people you find, look up their company’s website and the contact details the business publishes.
Is scraping LinkedIn allowed?
No. LinkedIn’s User Agreement bans scraping and bots, and LinkedIn enforces it. The risk is yours, and it’s highest if you connect your own account.
How much does it cost?
$50 a year for every LeadTrapper feature, including the LinkedIn scraper, after a 14-day free trial with no card needed.
Is the LinkedIn scraper a Sales Navigator alternative?
For one job: building a list of people by role, industry and city. It has no InMail, sends no LinkedIn messages and returns no emails. For $50 a year it also includes the Email Finder, the Google Maps scraper and the WhatsApp bulk sender.
Can I find emails for the people on my list?
Not from LinkedIn. Take the company from each headline and run its website through the Email Finder, which reads the emails the company publishes and labels team members by name.
Does it work on Mac?
No. LeadTrapper is a Windows app for Windows 10 and 11, installed from the Microsoft Store.
